Start with Fiverr. Then 99 Designs. Elance. ODesk. You will have something worthwhile from there.

  • +1 for 99 Designs. It's likely the most cost effective way and you get to tap into a large pool of designers. Quality varies from designer to designer, and most likely won't make the cut, but 1 or 2 great options makes 99 Designs all worthwhile. – Chrissie Gray 4 years ago
  • +1 for 99 designs; it's probably the best balance between price, effort, and quality. Fiverr's unlikely to produce something original, professional, and high-quality. For $5 it can be worth trying, but don't count on a standout design. Elance and ODesk can take a lot of effort -- going through portfolios, finding the right budget, looking at reviews, etc. It can be worth it if you're going to have on-going design needs and want to find contractors you can keep working with, but for a one-time project, I wouldn't recommend it. – Jay Neely 4 years ago

College, design/art/media schools. Preferably graduates/ third year, who only charge little or no money but instead will want something like extra credit for school, or a Letter of Recommendation.
