Which is a larger opportunity: mobile games or SaaS software?

0

I'm trying to figure out which idea to work on and have a list of several social games (some mobile) that I can build and a few ideas for B2B Saas software products.

Which would you say is the larger opportunity? What are the pros and cons of each market?

B2B typically means solving problems for people that have money to pay for those problems to be solved, however, you may have a high cost of acquisition, and a long sales cycle time, which can be problematic for young companies.

B2C - easy to prototype, easy to play test, difficult to market and hard to break through the noise. If you break through the noise with a great product, the audience could be huge.

The answer to "which should I work on?" is whichever product you are passionate about and have validated there is a market for.

According to http://www.bit-tech.net/news/gaming/2008/11/25/only-20-percent-of-games-make-a-profit/1
"4 percent of all games that enter into production ever make a profit"

There are so many games released all the time that you have to be genius and a fool to make a profit.
