Markus Frind of PlentyofFish. Until recent years, he didn't have any employees and was generating well over $1M/year as a solo entrepreneur.

There are lots of "super affiliates" in the affiliate marketing industry that also make over $1 million in affiliate commissions. Jeremy Schoemaker, John Chow, etc.
