Primary benefits:
- Keeping the community informed of changes to the platform.
- Inbound marketing to grow traffic.
- Community building content. e.g. Interview and feature the top expert for the week / month. Builds the community and promotes the expert's startup.
Before starting the blog we'll need to decide on the types of content we'll write and publish. Here are some types of initial content we should do to get the ball rolling:
- How-To Guides
- Top Lists
- Interviews
- Pro/Con lists

For technical implementation, we'll just use Jekyll with Octopress. No need to reinvent the wheel.
