Relevant content engine

This will take some time to build out. The goal: you should see relevant questions first.

Some variables that could be used to create relevancy:

  • Ability to follow topics and other users.
  • Topics that you've viewed / answered questions in before
  • Questions that you've viewed + the time spent on reading that question. i.e. More time spent on a question means it's likely of interest to you.
  • If you've linked your Twitter / Facebook account, questions from friends or "friends of friends" show up higher. Credit for this idea goes to Jelly app.

As the community grows, this will also help combat spam at some levels.

The key is do this without effecting the current response times. Speed takes priority over everything (i.e. the performance of all new features are benchmarked to match current response rates before they go live).
