This is a good example of the kind of question that would have been closed on a Stack Exchange site (like the old answers.onstartups.com site) but that is actually a really good question and deserves to exist. – rbwhitaker 10 years ago

Inspire others to take action by showing your own action and commitment. Make it easy for people to step in and join forces if they want to help.

Be optimistic when faced with failure. Nothing kills a team spirit more than failing at something. And it's up to you to get everyone back on track.
