Ask them: What are your 2-4 biggest pain points right now in the business?

Reasons to ask this question:

  • You can see if the company has a big problem which you can help solve -- and find your niche in their team.
  • It shows that you are able to think at a higher abstract level to help improve the bottom line.

As the interviewer(s) about their experience at the company and what are the worst things about working there.

Reasons to ask:

  • It shows that you are interviewing them as well as them interviewing you
  • It shows that you care about the details, not the sales pitch
  • You might find out a good reason not to join the company
