How do I automatically post new Wordpress posts to Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Google+?

1
All the plugins I've tried have not worked, and the sites that I've tried want my passwords. I'm not comfortable with that. No plugin seems to be able to post to Pinterest (high priority). Google+ also seems unavailable (but this is low priority). I've looked at "Social", "PR-Gateway Connect", IFFT, & Zapier.

  • I think I was using the wrong search keywords. I was using "post social automate" and "social broadcast". I eventually found "NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster" and another. The Pinterest and G+ feature costs money. The installation is a bit involved, but seems localized to your own server, so more 'secure'. Will update... – Starrychloe S. 9 years ago

Yes, NextScripts Auto Poster is fairly awesome. The setup was a lot of work. You have to create your own apps for services like Twitter & Facebook. Facebook is the hardest. To post to Pinterest and G+ costs money, about $50. The posting to Pinterest causes problems because they send an email to you saying they saw some "Strange activity..." and lock your account! You have to keep resetting your password. I was finally able to reach a human after going through their robots for several layers, and they turned off that locking mechanism. There was another problem with the auto-posting which didn't work! If the author of an article did not have permissions, then it would not autopost, even if the admin was logged in and was the one who published! WTF? I entered a ticket and am waiting for the developer to fix it, but they are ignoring me.
