Image license for logo

I bought a "royalty-free" license for an image on They advertised it as royalty-free, and this implied that I could use it for anything. After I bought it, I found out that the license is really limited, and it can only be used for advertising or commercial use. if I want to use it in a logo for my app, I'd have to buy a "sell-the-rights" license. They didn't advertise this before I bought the royalty-free license, and I thought of looking up the license details after I bought it. If I use the image in my logo, will they try to sue me, even though their license name is misleading?
